I would like to be able to check the date of the calendar before editing, and then cancel the edit if the date is prior to today's date. the startdate always evaluates as either an empty string or "Nothing".
What I'm trying to do is prevent editing if the date is prior to today, in other words, if the date has passed then cancel the edit, and display a message.
I don't know if I've missed something, but this seems like a very strange way to go about something as simple as handling an event.
I have no problem accessing it from the Grid View1_Row Updating event for validation purposes.
Row Updated, _ New Ole Db Row Updated Event Handler(Address Of On Row Updated) adapter. Row Error) Next End Using End Sub Sub On Row Updating(By Val sender As Object, _ By Val args As Ole Db Row Updating Event Args) If args.
Fill(cust DS, "Customers") Dim cust Row As Data Row = cust DS. New Row() cust Row("Customer ID") = "NEWCO" cust Row("Company Name") = "New Company" cust DS. Row Updating, _ New Ole Db Row Updating Event Handler(Address Of On Row Updating) Add Handler adapter.
Insert Command = New Ole Db Command( _ "INSERT INTO Customers (Customer ID, Company Name) VALUES(?
Row Updated, _ New Ole Db Row Updated Event Handler(Address Of On Row Updated) Dim row As Data Row For Each row In cust DS.
Search for and rowupdating:
Open() Dim cust DS As Data Set = New Data Set() adapter. Add(cust Row) ' add handlers Add Handler adapter.
